Corporate Goals

  1. To develop, assess and plan a world class merchant pig iron production facility by:
    • locating, securing and maintaining professionals (individuals and companies) who can contribute effectively and efficiently to the desired Project outcomes; and
    • fostering a corporate culture that seeks out innovative responses to opportunities and problems generated by the studies.

  2. To prepare the project studies to a bankable standard with minimal outlay by:
    • maintaining a specific 'Project Definition' and tight scope of work;
    • ensuring all study work meets the standards for a Bankable Feasibility Study effectively; and
    • ensuring, through careful planning, that all studies are conducted efficiently.

  3. To position and prepare the Company to be able to capitalise on the successful outcome of the project studies by:
    • funding the Company adequately to ensure that it is able to capitalise on opportunities presented by the Project;
    • preparing and maintaining long term planning objectives for the Company (i.e. post Bankable Feasibility Study);
    • recognising the scope of the funding that will be required to build the Project and realistically plan the Company's role in the post Bankable Feasibility Study phase; and
    • fostering positive business relationships with companies and institutions that could assist the Company in the construction and operation phases of the Project.

  4. To deliver long term shareholder benefits by:
    • seeking out future business opportunities that complement the Company's business objectives and core competencies;
    • ensuring corporate stability through prudent decision making; and
    • generating capital gains and dividends (where appropriate) through effective implementation of the Company's business plans.
